My father is a drumpf loving dumbass too. At one point he threatened me over the phone, saying that there was a "war coming," and I should "pick the right side."
I think what happened is the dad brought her into the bedroom to threaten her with the gun, pointing it right at her, and then "accidentally" fired. But how much of an accident can you call it, when you point a loaded hand-gun at someone, with the safety OFF, and your finger ON the trigger?
In the fathers eyes, it was an accident. But we all know that's bullshit.
I carried a small baby and a ladder with me to the alligator pit at the zoo. I set the ladder up next to the pit, I climbed to the top of the ladder and held the baby out over the alligator pit. But oh no officer! The baby just, whoops! slipped through my hands! Purely accidental! I definitely didn't want to feed my baby to the alligators!
He murdered his daughter because he valued a rapists lies over his daughters life. He's a piece of shit, and I hope his every waking moment is haunted.
We ARE at war. Anyone still harboring hope for a true-believer Trumper is like the person in the zombie movie fighting the other survivors screaming, "There's still a human being in there!"

True, it seems only MAGA are doing any real fighting. The rest of us are just "too good to stoop to their level" type thing. They stormed the capitol over what they believed to be an unfair election. We look at a capitol filled with paedophilic murderous fascists and all we do is bitch online about it while waiting for someone else to do something.
Because it's not a fucking war. We don't win by shooting people and killing children. We win with lawyers and general strikes. BECAUSE IT'S NOT A FUCKING WAR. That belief is part of the mind control; the culture war is propaganda to set left against right instead of bottom against top, and you're eating it up. It works on the left just as well as on the right. You're not immune just because you don't support Trump!!
I literally just said that we're looking at the top and not doing anything about it. MAGA are eating up the "culture war" bullshit and are even shooting their own daughters over it. Tell me where in my comment where I said we should shoot them back, I'm saying that "we are the bottom looking at the top and ain't doing shit." Be sure to let me know when lawyers or general strikes happen or start working because shit's going downhill real fast, and we're looking at the monsters on the top and saying "they deserve peace."
It is a fucking war - a class war. You're the one eating up the bullshit that these billionaires deserve a peaceful response. Good luck with that as they laugh looking down at your peaceful protests from their penthouse windows. As they look at our precious legislation as pieces of paper to wipe their asses with. At least I'm not eating up the whole "the system will fix itself" narrative.

Negligent homicide is still a chargeable crime - at least if local prosecutors were willing to do their jobs
He created a scenario where an accident was very very likely because some part of him is willing to take great risks with other people's lives just to defend his own ego.

He's a Trumpist. I'm fully willing to believe he really is that stupid and irresponsible.
Another possibility is that he threatened her with the gun but she called his bluff and then he followed through with the threat. And no, that isn't trying to put blame on her, it's saying that he might have gone in intending to just threaten her but then deliberately killed her when it didn't work.
Your scenario is murder 3 (didn't intend to kill but did act in malice leading to the negligent death).
This scenario would be murder 2 (didn't plan to kill her when he brought her into the room but decided to kill her in the heat of the moment).
But it's possible it was murder 1 (brought her in there with full intent to kill her).
Murder 3 I'm not sure about but think the difference between it and manslaughter is malicious intent behind the actions that lead to the death.
Though not sure why he wasn't charged at all, since even his version would be manslaughter as his negligence absolutely lead to her death (combo of handling the gun while drunk, it was loaded, safety off, finger on trigger, pointing at her chest).
