I was making a point that even US government funded media is reporting on it. I’ve read about it on Reuters

How far into Reuters did you have to go before this was mentioned?

I should have said that mainstream news hasn’t been covering it. A single mention in VOA is not something that almost any American will take notice of, and Reuters news tends to be consigned to the back pages of a print newspaper.
