For ADHD specifically, the dopamine and endorphin release from exercise is what helps combat the symptoms. But the platelets aid with neuron rejuvenation. So, I'd think it wouldn't be of much help. For older folks the platelets seem to provide the biggest benefit. This is because with age, there tends to be increased difficulty in movement as well as neuron function.
