She was one of the central players that lost the Republic. I don’t ever want to see her fucking face again in politics.
She was a bad candidate in 2016 and 2020, and she was demonstrably a catastrophic choice in 2024. And by that I mean her lack of backbone in standing up to monied interests shows that she entirely lacks the grit and will that our current era demands. Too much compromise with the neoliberals and hypercapitalists, not enough listening to actually fucking citizens and lived experience. Walz was the brightest spot in her campaign. And then she and the DNC muzzled him, with predictable results.
There are no "good candidates", the central players that defeated the Republic are the collaborative efforts of a group of billionaires and foreign dictatorships turning social media against democracy. Any progressive candidate will face the same uphill battle and the nation will slide further into conservative autocracy unless we do something to stop it.
With a single digit quantity of exceptions, the vast majority of our political establishment are somewhere between overt fascists and inept, useful idiots who are manifestly unfit to face the challenges of this fucked up new era we find ourselves in.
You can rail against the entire political system all you like but you have a moral responsibility to participate in order to minimize suffering.
I have and I do. I am under no illusions that the “less bad” party is actually trying meaningfully to improve things, or that it will do anything to stop the fascists. Because they’re not doing anything to stop the fascists.
I don't need perfect, but I want a candidate that's pretty solidly against genocide.

Biden tried to broker peace, withheld large bombs that Israel had already paid for. Trump and other GOP candidates are favored by Israel, explicitly endorsed by Netanyahu.
If you care about Palestinians then you should endorse Kamala and whoever else the DNC candidates are, because the alternative is worse.
I'd rather the democratic party decide genocide is bad actually than blame the people who chose not to vote for people who aren't against genocide.
The DNC have never supported Genocide. Biden tried to broker peace, withheld ordinance. He did not do enough, that is true, but the GOP explicitly do support actual genocide and by not supporting the DNC you've enabled the genocide.
He didn't actually try though, is the thing. If he was trying, he would've actually withheld all of the war supplies the US is providing to Israel. He didn't.
The DNC actively supports genocide and attacked the people who didn't. They are a party of genocide. Simple as.
You're claiming the guy who withheld bombs and swore at his longest ally over the phone wanted the eradication of Palestinian people, but it just doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Every Biden official's stance was to negotiate peace. The emergency humanitarian aid mission and construction of a giant flotilla was the largest in US history.
Tanks hit the ground in Gaza and West Bank for the first time in over a decade after Trump was reelected. All aid into Gaza stopped for two months, remains sharply decreased. Pete Hegseth has openly said death or exodus are the options for Palestine. Neither party's constituency approve of Israel's actions.
Why would Biden do all that for the theatrics? It makes no sense. A pro-genocide actor would not have done so much to stop it.
Biden was like please do not use those big bombs, just use more smaller bombs to exterminate Palestinians. He bypassed the congress twice and also gave 14 billions to Israel to continue the genocide. He claimed to want a cease fire but he knew the problem was Israel yet he blamed it on Hamas
You didnt answer my question. Why would he claim to want a ceasefire? Why would he limit Israel's war supplies? Why would he feed Palestinians?
Trump isn't doing any of those things and hes still unaccountable, so why would Biden give a shit, either?
He want to claim to want a cease fire because he is an hypocrite . Hamas demands was so simple, the end of the genocide, Israel returning some of the Palestinians hostages in exchange of returning all the Israeli hostages yet Israel continued the genocide and Biden blamed Hamas knowing very well the problem is Israel.
All the reputable human rights orgs and UN entity said that there is not enough food entering Gaza during Biden
