Maybe if we had some kind of electron beam we could use to draw on a screen, and the brain just does it's 'persistence of vision' shenanigans?

Yeah, maybe guide that beam with electromagnetic fields. Maybe we can dye phosphors on the front of wherever it's projecting onto so that we can make it a color display.

Yeah and what's up with this flat/concave boring shape we give to TVs. We should make them convex and give them a hump so I can move them easily.

Also who decided to make TVs lightweight? Real TVs have curves.
