I am pretty sure they only do in attempt to attract devs. Once Epic were to get a majority position in the market they would quickly raise it to 30% too. None of these companies are “good guys” or actually care about the end consumer.

I want to say that Valve actually does. I don't know if they do or not, but.... Something about saying Valve is the bad guy here feels incredibly fucking sus.

I mean they all do. Big corporations are not our friend. Some are good at making us feel like friends but truly at the end of the profit matters.
