General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Sorry who is talking about GB news? There are other news channels available.

Ask yourself: do you really think Starmer and Labour are doing enough? Or is it always a right wing conspiracy that stands in the way?

I am a bit above your gaslighting troll. I am also not an ardent Labour supporter. There is no right wing conspiracy, there is clear evidence the right wing have bought out the media to push an agenda. The conspiracy is people believe it is divide and conquer. The reality is that it is just a heist.

Mate, I don't want to get into a pointless argument with you, but you rather randomly brought up GB News for what reason I have no idea 🤣. And I'm sorry, but the way you talk sounds conspiracy 101.

there is clear evidence the right wing have bought out the media to push an agenda.

The guardian and independent and financial times are clear bastions of the right wing 🙄.

The reality is that it is just a heist

😂😂 who talks like this?

Anyway, I bid you good afternoon. Enjoy the sunshine wherever you are.
