It isn't retro because it's beefy enough to not be emulated easily. And yes, by that definition, the Wii is retro.

The Switch is overall beefier and is emulated very well. Emulation is about the architecture and level of interest, not just specs.

Xbox 360 is easier to emulate than OG Xbox or Sega Saturn last I checked.

That says more about the current state of technology than anything else.

It also depends on your definition of "easily". You can play pretty much anything from the xbox catalog on a cheap business laptop today.
