It’s up to the citizens on the ground in Minneapolis and opposition elected officials across the country to chase MAGA and ICE as they are in retreat, making the simple point that the best way to stop murdering innocent American citizens who are defending their rights is to stop killing them. The best way to tamp down the terror is to stop terrorizing civilian communities. There’s simply no such thing as a kinder, gentler ICE. More investigations, more testimony, more demands for tearing down ICE and building a better, non-criminal agency in its place, more making every member of Congress who supported these travesties to answer for it every day until November.

Can anybody define the term "wilding" in this context? Is it a way of saying that ICE has been going out of control?

I've only ever seen it used once before.

Trump got into politics when there were a series of rapes in Central Park in New York City. The police, under pressure to find the culprits, coerced a group of young black men into false confessions, in which they described "wilding" where they ran around raping and killing white women. Trump took out full-page newspaper ads calling for them to be executed, and they spent many years in prison before eventually being exonerated when DNA analysis became possible.

So "wilding" is is a reference to wanton rape and attempted murder, and to Trump's racist smearing of the innocent, and to the perfidy of police.
