that’s exactly why i think they’re play acting.
as a group they’re a lot of things but not actually stupid… yet they profess this deep admiration and respect for authoritarian dictatorships… exactly what liberals use as examples of “why communism doesn’t work”.

but like you say, they weren’t communist countries. and these imposters insist over and over and over again that china, russia, and the dprk are the pinnacles of communism.

they derail every online community earnestly talking about communist ideas, and drown out legitimate talk with bullshit about how stalin was great and it’s all propaganda that he killed more people than hitler… never ending purity tests and just being as mean as possible to anyone curious about it.

i don’t think conservatives are as afraid of communism as the liberal establishment is, because actual democrat voters are much closer to communists than they realize.
