History teacher here. He is technically not wrong. Eventually, history will forget Stalin. It just won't be in my lifetime, or anytime in the next several hundred (thousand?) years.

I mean, humanity will go extinct eventually.

Quick question, do gloomy people naturally want to become historians, or did it kind of happen as you learned more about humans?
