it's a pretty bad metaphor as Jews don't have dangerous magic powers. it makes the counterpoint antisemites more reasonable in the metaphor as "I feel violated when I'm mind controlled" is a reasonable concern but antisemites have no such reasonable worries
Yeah if there was a group of people who could kill you with impunity and thought themselves above the common people being afraid of them would be rational. Oh wait that's called cops
