Initially started as a shitpost about a nightmare I had, I realized I like drawing comics.

This will be continued, I already have quite some plot line figured out as I’m now basing this on other project I hallucinated for years - now at last I figured out a medium that works.

No descriptions and ~~rss~~ yet as I haven’t slept for a week now - this will be updated.

This all is public domain, one can’t own dreams.

BTW none of the images on the site load for me, and the RSS URL gives an error in FreshRSS.

Might just be on my end though.

ugh, try removing a trailing slash, small price to pay for using esoteric bash web framework used by 5 people

will fix this in a moment

Just plugged the RSS into my app (Feeder) and it worked like charm.

Beautiful stuff, mate! Feels otherworldly.

[–] null@piefed.nullspace.lol 4 points 3 weeks ago

Dang, I still can't get it working on FreshRSS or Read You :(

[–] null@piefed.nullspace.lol 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Images are loading now (and I’m drooling over the art style).

No dice on the RSS though. This is there error I’m getting:

A feed could not be found at https://kamiokan.de/dreams/rss.xml; the status code is 200 and content-type is `` [https://kamiokan.de/dreams/rss.xml]

Check again, I've set the content-type

[–] null@piefed.nullspace.lol 3 points 3 weeks ago

It worked! Looking forward to more!

Is the website supposed to be black text on dark grey background?

When I inspect the css, no element has a color attribute set, and the default value (in my "non dark mode" browser) is black.

[–] j_g00da@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Oh I guess your browser doesn't support <meta name="color-scheme" content="light dark"> (?). Will add color explicitly in a moment, thanks!

[–] winety@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I tried both Firefox and Chromium and neither showed the page correctly even though they both support it. Weird...

[–] j_g00da@lemmy.sdf.org 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Wait, is it still a problem? I've set the color explicitly almost two hours ago.

[–] winety@lemmy.zip 5 points 3 weeks ago

No no, it works fine now. Only the links are still a bit too dark.
