Explanation: The Sassanid Persian Emperor Shapur I defeated the Roman Emperor Valerian. To humiliate him, he supposedly was used as a footstool so Shapur could mount his horse.
This meme references the recent illegal abduction of Venezuelan leader Maduro by US forces and the accompanying unbacked proclamations of US control over Venezuela by the current fascist president of the USA. The title references that one of the charges said fascist US administration has charged Maduro, a head of a sovereign state, with, is 'possession of a machine gun', bizarrely.
Politics? In my Rough Roman Memes? It's more likely than you think.
Political!? Me!? No, I am a perfectly apolitical supporter of the Res Publica, I just can't understand why these plebs keep interrupting my prandium with their protests for 'reform' and 'food', I really think the Urban Cohorts should disperse the rabble so we can live in perfectly apolitical peace, they can go get elected like normal people if they want change
