Resist: It's Time

We are still in this together, but "this" is going to be real different in the very near future. This demands a different kind of "we."

The French Resistance during Nazi occupation played important roles delivering downed Allied airmen back to safety, supplying military intelligence, and acts of sabotage.

The Underground Railroad is estimated to have brought 100,000 freedom seekers to safety between 1810 and 1850.

It's time.

So the status coup guy was talking while he was moving around about something he has to protect his head that he can then put a baseball cap over. He feels that with actual helmets ice is more likely to target shooting the person in the head. So im looking for advice along these lines on a few different basises.

  • one is common things for someone who wants some protection when they go out and can't buy specific things

  • two is suggestions for stealth armor like the status coup guy was sorta talking about. Being protected without it being obvious and possibly be made a target.

  • finally just any advice around protection while being out that people can think of but I am only interested in defensive purposes so please for this thread limit it to protection although redirection is fine and appropriate.

These don't have to be taken together. free found or stealth that might cost, etc.

That’s pretty much it. I cut a belt to use as a forearm strap as well; because they become unwieldy.

yeah im thinking the bottom as round shield to and using the really strong solid type velcro may make it easy to make and repair. Maybe be able to reassemble it somwhat so its just this thing sitting there but you can grab the shields when needed. I really like your idea and thanks.

Just use a fluted steel buckler, they're not that expensive and the metal is thicker and has a better contour. Probably fits in a backpack
