What would a version with an American neighbour look like in light of recent events? >.>

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 month ago

The neighbor would just be missing from the Americans.

The Israeli family’s neighbor’s yard would be on fire right?

They siphon the fuel out of the car and fuck their underaged daughter

By recent events are you referring to events following the Russian backed fascist takeover of the US government?

[–] Aljernon@lemmy.today 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I'm guessing he means the attack on Venezuela and threats to annex Greenland

It's home grown fascism. The fact that Russia may have helped does not absolve us.

The US wrote the book Nazi Germany used to start the Holocaust. We can't keep pretending the US is noble and all of the evil is outside influence.

Did I say it absolves us? No, I'm pretty sure I didn't.

Post: Russia does bad shit!

Reply: US just did some bad shit too!

Me: Russia contributed to that as well!

The topic of the post is Russia. I said nothing to implicate or excuse the US.

Gonna blame Trump and Maga on Russia now? Own up to the fact that at least half the USAians are assholes.

[–] Aljernon@lemmy.today 1 points 1 month ago

That's a both situation. Trump and MAGA have known and heavily suspected long standing connections to Russia. And it's well known that the US is full of selfish spoiled pricks.

I'm responding to Russian whataboutism deflecting criticism towards actions that Russia also had a hand in. Russia didn't create MAGA, but they sure as hell helped fund it. That's relevant.
