Jeffries and Schumer have come out against reducing ICE funding or reigning in ICE in any way. Walz has directly threatened protesters with the National Guard but ruled out using state police or the National Guard to oppose ICE. So yes, the Democrats don't oppose it and would continue to empower ICE, they would like a few more fig-leafs.
