No, I don't think so.

In 1875 the future and its technological advancements was a great promise.
It was the time of the great World Fairs, think Crystal Palace and Eiffel Tower.
Seeing a high wheeler would have been a totally new and positively exciting thing.

In 2026, a Cybertruck is a symbol for general degeneration and the worst possible use of decades old concepts and technologies.
