I mean I am definitely on the left side of the spectrum, but I feel like with statements like

The worth of a product comes only from what people are willing to pay, not from its labor or social benefit.

or

Maximizing economic growth is more important than reducing inequality.

I feel like the quiz wants you to get certain results

I think they cut right to the heart of the divide/tradeoff between capitalism and socialism. Maybe you are just surprised to find out where you land on the spectrum? Also which side do you feel it's pushing you towards?

I am strongly on economic-left/progressive, a little bit towards liberalism. That is the less surprising result I could imagine. I think it the quiz favours the left of the spectrum. I don't think people would in general agree with the 2 statements I cited above the way they are formulated. But maybe I am already too disattached from society.

ITT the average person is actually just more left wing than they think due to powerful people who own media conglomerates constantly trying to package the right wing in a way that we will swallow and left wing ideals being all but outlawed in the media.
