THE POLICE PROBLEM
The police problem is that police are policed by the police. Cops are accountable only to other cops, which is no accountability at all.
99.9999% of police brutality, corruption, and misconduct is never investigated, never punished, never makes the news, so it's not on this page.
When cops are caught breaking the law, they're investigated by other cops. Details are kept quiet, the officers' names are withheld from public knowledge, and what info is eventually released is only what police choose to release — often nothing at all.
When police are fired — which is all too rare — they leave with 'law enforcement experience' and can easily find work in another police department nearby. It's called "Wandering Cops."
When police testify under oath, they lie so frequently that cops themselves have a joking term for it: "testilying." Yet it's almost unheard of for police to be punished or prosecuted for perjury.
Cops can and do get away with lawlessness, because cops protect other cops. If they don't, they aren't cops for long.
The legal doctrine of "qualified immunity" renders police officers invulnerable to lawsuits for almost anything they do. In practice, getting past 'qualified immunity' is so unlikely, it makes headlines when it happens.
All this is a path to a police state.
In a free society, police must always be under serious and skeptical public oversight, with non-cops and non-cronies in charge, issuing genuine punishment when warranted.
Police who break the law must be prosecuted like anyone else, promptly fired if guilty, and barred from ever working in law-enforcement again.
That's the solution.

Our definition of ‘cops’ is broad, and includes prison guards, probation officers, shitty DAs and judges, etc — anyone who has the authority to fuck over people’s lives, with minimal or no oversight.

If an unidentified armed Nazi breaks my door down I am absolutely burying them six feet under.
Remember, if you want to go through body armor, you'll either have a hell of a time finding AP ammo, need to hand-load your own, or -- the economical, thinking man's choice -- have 12 gauge slugs. Buckshot and regular FMJ will not cut it unless you're more confident in your shot placement under pressure than I am (in which case, aim for the face or the groin, but not center mass)
If they are close enough to me to film as close as I've seen, I feel like they're close enough for face shots?
While getting fired upon in return (which you presumably will be, immediately, if you're telling them to fuck off or be shot and they're not fucking off)?
Heads are small targets and hard to hit if they're moving, and they move a lot even when the body they're attached to is not actively trying to dodge gunfire. If you want to take out more than just the one you surprise, I would strongly recommend something that can punch holes in body armor -- if you're gonna go down this route, go down with >1 KDR.
If they are close enough to shoot you in the face three times, they are close enough to be shot in the face three times.
How? They barely understand how to stack/clear a room, but also have way more personnel to cover fire as well as what looks like at least level 3a armor.
Not sure if listing the exact details are allowed for this community, but for starters, it is far easier to acquire explosive or lethally dangerous chemical compounds that do not give a shit about level IIIa plates or soft armor, especially with enough fragmentation or corrosion. It is also relatively simple to create an electronic or fuse system for both methods, or to use an "Semi-autonomous/RC delivery system" to avoid personal bodily harm, as a civilian with minimal barriers or oversight.
Additionally, a neighborhood whose residents trust one another and are willing to come to action are a significant barrier to any individual person being raided - difficult to stack all angles with one team if nobody on the block is going to be a bystander.
