Creating a narrative around someone who was good, going against everything they stood for but controlling the narrative around them to force one's own autocratic policies upon others is an ancient tale.

You know, like abandoning the fight for proletariat rule, the proletariat owning the means of production, and the elimination of the system of capital. Those things core to Marx's philosophy that every single ML country has utterly failed to do, and has actually established permenant barriers to by way of autocracy.
