I sleep on a cheap, thin mattress on the floor with no bed frame or anything, and have just some cheapest Ikea pillows and blankets. I used to have even thinner mattress, but then I lost more weight and my bones started hitting the floor because it was also dented pretty badly, so I had to switch to this one.
I feel like I'm kinda choking and constantly falling if I have a proper bed and proper pillows, so this weird asceticism works for me. I guess that goes to show people can be extremely different
