That doesn't make sense......the Irish are still PLENTY depressed. It's why they drink so much.

Nah they're not depressed, they're just melancholic. That's when you combine all the root causes for depression with a dose of good folk music.
If that were true, then why do I have so much depression despite having zero Irish heritage?
