The 6-in-1 products are great overall but mine struggles with thicker carpet. YMMV
The 7 in 1 product mentions "shag".
So you can use it as lube?
Anything is a lube if you’re brave enough.
My 8-1 has menthol in it. Do not recommend for lube.
