America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

The "do something about it" is not only for AOC, but for all sane Americans.
The longer this rot is allowed to spread and act freely in your country, the harder it will be to get rid of.
The rot has decades of inertia behind it and it benefits the donors to both major parties.
We need a general strike, but too many people are already right at the edge of destitution and are scared of being the one person who walks out and loses everything and has to face fascism while homeless. And the unhoused are pretty high up on the "then they came for" list, with even democrats like newsom working against them.
