THE POLICE PROBLEM
The police problem is that police are policed by the police. Cops are accountable only to other cops, which is no accountability at all.
99.9999% of police brutality, corruption, and misconduct is never investigated, never punished, never makes the news, so it's not on this page.
When cops are caught breaking the law, they're investigated by other cops. Details are kept quiet, the officers' names are withheld from public knowledge, and what info is eventually released is only what police choose to release — often nothing at all.
When police are fired — which is all too rare — they leave with 'law enforcement experience' and can easily find work in another police department nearby. It's called "Wandering Cops."
When police testify under oath, they lie so frequently that cops themselves have a joking term for it: "testilying." Yet it's almost unheard of for police to be punished or prosecuted for perjury.
Cops can and do get away with lawlessness, because cops protect other cops. If they don't, they aren't cops for long.
The legal doctrine of "qualified immunity" renders police officers invulnerable to lawsuits for almost anything they do. In practice, getting past 'qualified immunity' is so unlikely, it makes headlines when it happens.
All this is a path to a police state.
In a free society, police must always be under serious and skeptical public oversight, with non-cops and non-cronies in charge, issuing genuine punishment when warranted.
Police who break the law must be prosecuted like anyone else, promptly fired if guilty, and barred from ever working in law-enforcement again.
That's the solution.

Our definition of ‘cops’ is broad, and includes prison guards, probation officers, shitty DAs and judges, etc — anyone who has the authority to fuck over people’s lives, with minimal or no oversight.

They didn't say "Americans", they said "Amerikkka" to specify what kind of American they are referring to. KKK is from the Klu Klux Klan, a racist protestant terrorist organization.
"Amerikkkans" refers to them and their supporters (whether members or not).
Be kind, don't start this "bullshit bad person" crap, thank you.
No he isn't. He referred to the entire country as amerikkka. There's so much hate for America and it's people rn all because a bunch of elites are screwing with the whole planet. The American people don't support this thinly vield gestapo.
If they are using "Amerikkka" to indicate all of America, they are misusing the term. Which isn't unusual now or anything.
I'm referring to the country as seen from the outside. I can only assume it's even worse from the inside.
But enough with the pleasantries, they are unneeded.. I hold Amerikkka to the same or even higher standard than other countries. Aren't you the oh so mightiest country in the world? Well then, get to fixing yourselves. For fuck's sake, even the French did it better than you so far.
This is incorrect.
The last protest in USA was big, as big as if EVERYONE IN PARIS protested at once.
Considering all of France has 5% of the landmass of the USA while being one fifth of the population, well... there you go.
The USA is massive. France is more comparable to California alone.
A more apt comparison would be USA compared to the European Union. Can you get everyone in the EU to protest like in France?
No.
We're not magical. We're just people.
This is absolutely a bullshit take. Like, yeah, no shit I noticed the reference to the kkk. In this context it was used as yet another generalization of "america bad". It's childish bullshit. There was no differentiation between the kkk and other Americans, did you fucking notice that? You think maybe that's something that would piss off any sane person since like, oh, I don't fucking know, maybe other Americans are black and descendants of those violently oppressed by that terrorist organization? Maybe that's a super insane thing to imply while suggesting Americans are being murdered by ICE because that's what they fucking wanted? Grow up.
Don't play games with not understanding how being kind works. There are people who are bad people, and the person victim blaming people being murdered by fascists in their own government is one of those bad people. That kind of behavior should absolutely NOT be tolerated. Letting toxic bullshit slide like that isn't in any way kind since it actively makes the world a worse place.
Damn, you're not a very pleasant person, I get it! Go on and freak the fuck out, it's cute
But you're not making the world one jot better. I am not inviting you to my party
You're not the type to honestly engage with things and give the less than useless "clapbacks" aren't you?
You can either be insulting, OR provide 'honest engagement'. You can't do both.
You know this in public though, right? Yeah you do.
