Genuinely - as I'm an outstanding citizen by your metric - what does your comment intend to accomplish other than illicit your own sense of superiority while literally accomplishing nothing? No commentary to the matter, no recourse how to engage with whom you describe as the absolute enemy, just infighting bait. If this is how you engage with family and friends on these issues.. you've likely done more damage.

I really should just be writing off these comments as bot replies at this point.

Shame is a form of punishment. Everyone loves to get off on their high horse about how positive punishment is unproductive and reform should be constructive yada yada. This middle of the road shit is exactly how we ended up with centrists.

We need to bring equality back to punishment. I'm tired of seeing cops kill people and get put on leave like it's a private work blunder. I'm tired of hearing about politicians ignoring judicial orders and having absolutely no repercussions whatsoever.

So even if it's just people screaming angrily into the void on the internet, it's more than was being done a day ago, and that something is more than nothing.

Yeah, holy shit, I agree with OP, but this is unproductive. For the same reason it was unproductive to "both sides" during the election, it's useless to spend time on lambasting people for their sins, apropos of nothing. (By all means, keep chewing out people who resurface their tired Kamala rhetoric now.)

We should be building coalitions and working together. As has always been the case.
