While Trump is approaching his final term seemingly racing the clock and focused on short-term results, autocrats around the globe able to play a longer game could benefit from rising tensions between the U.S. and a number of its neighbors.**

I can't find a good reason why he would target US allies and shit all over the continent other than it's a win-win situation for him: he pleases Russian mob daddy and distracts from his own child trafficking scandal. He was probably sold the idea that his name would be forever engraved in history and his eyes glowed.
