A place to meme about the glorious ROMAN EMPIRE (and Roman Republic, and Roman Kingdom)! Byzantines tolerated! The HRE is not.

Explanation: From a live-action adaptation of the manga Thermae Romae, about Ancient Rome. As the movie is Japanese and based on a Japanese work, most of the main cast actors chosen are, likewise, Japanese. I dig it, unironically.

I knew it! I have the book and I watched the live action. It's a bit of a silly premise but it's good fun. It makes me crave a good onsen!
