Actually, half a mile radius around the station would put both named locations out of range. How difficult it is also depends where in the station they measure from, as it's about 100m from the platforms to the main entrance. He could probably only hide in 16 or so of the connectors, not the full 40+ in the city centre. Still annoying, but probably not winning.
