Maybe call the community "peoplesocialmedia" instead
It's a play on the 'White People Twitter' communities, i.e. sh.itjust.works/c/whitepeopletwitter or reddit.com/r/WhitePeopleTwitter/, removing the unnecessary racial and corpo elements.
I'm going to be honest, why would anyone want only to see content from Mastodon social media users. Is there something you find specifically unique about their users commentary?
Yeah that's fair. I was kinda hoping for a community though that celebrates funny moments on mastodon. You know, because it is a niche social media site that could use some advertisement.
Well if it's any consolation, Mastodon does make up the largest share of content here out of any platform - only because I manually go to Mastodon and clip stuff my self to share.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but r/WhitePeopleTwitter was created in contrast to r/BlackPeopleTwitter, which did have strict requirements about a user's skin color to post/comment there. WPT later dropped the "White" requirement, although couldn't change their name because Reddit.
