Unfortunately I don't think this is a "conservative or republican" problem. Almost all Americans are too "me first individualists" until something affects them personally. In Canada it is Conservatives and Albertans who are more likely to be individualistic.

Again, you're stereotyping. You can't imagine that in a country with 300 million people there are lots of viewpoints, many of which take five seconds to find on the Internet, if only you cared. Keep going, though.

I think blanket labeling an entire region of people is a pretty conservative thing to do TBH.
