They can't see the forest through the trees; they have the same problem with their preachers/pastors/priests.

They are gullible to their "spiritual leaders" and impose those spiritual qualities on their politicians, not to say that Democrats are less gullible, they are just gullible about other things.

Maybe they're just listening to the wrong propaganda. How do you choose?

You must always remember, propaganda is everywhere (now more than ever), and it can be true (though often a bit sideways).

I think it's best to look at what is done, not what is said. For example, Biden's campaign was strong on minimum wage, did the Ds increase minimum wage when he was in office? Nah. Trump's campaign was strong on "cleaning the swamp", did he clear the swamp when he was in office? Nah.

The problem is taking them seriously. Look at who pays their bills... what do they want? That's what will be done, they're not backing campaigns out of charity or patriotism.

When I notice that I have formed an opinion that aligns with the propaganda of the hour, I second-guess myself. When I see somebody who is obviously under the influence of propaganda, I distrust them.

I think that most of us do the opposite. When the media tells them what to fear and hate today, they run with it. When all of their friends think the same, they join their mob.

So I avoid cities. And I should probably avoid social media. :/
