In general, Libertarians will support fewer taxes and regulations.  So they are on the right on economic issues.

One key difference between Libertarians and Republicans lies in social issues. When it comes to LGBT issues, cannabis legalization, criminal justice reform, etc they tend to agree with Democrats.

For this reason, they don't really identify with one party or the other.

Some core beliefs that Libertarians and Democrats don't agree on are taxing the rich, medical coverage for all, education for all, removing money from politics, regulating industries for safety and antimonopoly, and climate change.

I do not believe less government in business is good. I think it allows things like children dying in meat packaging plants, going hungry at school.
