cause if they knew that the turn was coming and they knew the road well, how did they not notice that the tunnel had never been there, and why did they try to drive into it? whenever I'm driving in a place I know very well/I live in I basically just go on autopilot and drive to where I need to go.

Who said they knew the road well? It could be their first time there and the phones map told them a left turn was coming up.

if they were following directions they wouldn't think they know better than a computer software that is specifically designed to route and track roads using satellites by going forward.

"Turn right and then turn left" I've had this exact instruction before and would easily lead to this situation. In these types of moments, odds are you are looking and the road and not the screen so rely on the audio commands.

ok I'm not gonna delve into this

just let it go

I’m sorry dude. I guess I’ve never met someone you who is immune from making mistakes.

your grammar's wrong

its "I've never met someone ~~you~~ who is immune to making ~~from~~ mistakes."

now that I know that you don't like it I'm probably just gonna do it more

I know somebody's gonna be like "but Jesus said don't point out a splinter in somebody else's eye when you have a plank in yours" but I'm just teasing >_<
