I can't bloody shift it! I had the worst of it a couple of weekends ago and every time I feel better, the next day I feel terrible again. A blocked nose is meaning I get fuck all sleep and I keep feeling extremely exhausted.

Next year I'm definitely getting the jab!

Dunno your specific flu, but the one I usually get for some years now can be mitigated by exercising, even if it's a simple walk. Side effects are light-headedness and a burning sensation in my nostrils. But still, maybe worth a try for you?

The times I've had flu, it took half an hour of willing myself to be able to get out of bed and make it to the bathroom. I can't imagine exercising.

Yeah the flu is nasty business. I few years back I was pretty much in bed solid for 2 weeks. When I thought I was ok to walk outside my heart rate picked up, sweating, tired and short breath. Back inside I went.
