I absolutely love busy (in both people and just visually) city ground level photography like this, but definitely agree it can get a bit unpleasant trying to get those shots.
Fantastic picture though, it's come out a bit timeless to the past half century IMO, though the red signage is probably doing some of the heavy lifting there
