A recent news report says Canada’s defence planners are working on how the country could rapidly expand its forces in a national emergency.

The planning includes non traditional roles and mentions older Canadians and people who might not meet full combat fitness standards.

If the country asked for volunteers under this kind of plan, would you step forward?

Likely, Canada isn't perfect, but with the neighbor to the south acting increasingly like they see the Handsmaid Tale as an instruction manual, I want to make sure Canada is safe for my child in the future
