How did you come to that conclusion?
Capitalism by design will make sure of that, because it is predicated upon infinite and exponential growth, creating artificial inflation. The baseline quality of housing itself may become better overall on average, but capitalism will always and inevitably widen the gulf between those who have capital and those who don't, it is inherently an unjust system in and of itself and it will never escape that spiral, only exacerbate it.
I am not the guy you replied to, by the way, but poor people will stay poor under capitalism, forever.
