I don't want the ptv app to plan my trip, I want a pocket database where I can select a route and see the timetable. Boo.

If you go to the "search" tab, you can search for a route and see a timetable for each stop

list of stops on the upfield line. It's showing the status as "good service", yeah nah timetable for Batman station towards the city

You have to choose "see all" on the the page with the individual stops, otherwise you just see the next ones to arrive. So the process is: search for route name or number, choose the result that is a route, it will show all the stops on that route, click on the stop, choose see all to see the timetable for that stop. Not exactly straightforward, but you can get there.

Google maps journey planner is all I use, it's remarkably good

I just wanted to see when the last bus was and it's route. I still can't find it. Stupid fkn fiddly apps. e: Remember those bus timetable pamphlets you could collect from the front of busses?
