A place to meme about the glorious ROMAN EMPIRE (and Roman Republic, and Roman Kingdom)! Byzantines tolerated! The HRE is not.

Authoritarian right - murdered an entire germanic tribe, then crossed the Rhine and burned some of their land as well, just to show them that Rome was not to be fucked with.

Didn't work very well in the end.
