Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

Ooh, that's my biggest beef with humanity: we most definitely can. The percentage of "born destructive" people is fairly low, and most dumb shit done by humans is something they learned to do (doing here includes thinking and emoting)

But for some reason it still has not happened

Sorry if I’m jumping on a tangent here, I may have been triggered 😅

I don’t really agree with the premise that it hasn’t happened yet. Not only are there few people with truly destructive tendencies, but I see most kids (regardless of gender) being raised quite nicely. Sure they may still do stupid stuff sometimes (who doesn’t?) but that doesn’t take away from them being nice overall.

In my mind, the biggest beef with humanity is apathy/nihilism. Some people truly believe their actions have no consequences or if they do they don’t care about them. To me, this is a failure in education and one I attribute to a lack of spiritual awareness. Indeed thinking and emoting are part of that as acts of our inner spirit.

This is the reason I started my Philosophy of Balance blog, hoping to inspire people to become more aware of themselves and their actions again.

By all means, do be triggered and jump on the train :)

It hasn't happened yet by a lot of metrics:

do I see humanity neglecting every other life on the planet? - yes

do I see idiots with power and ideas like "let's wage war/pretend there is no gender/race-based discrimation" etc get instantly torn apart (literally) - no

do I see people who look like they believe their actions have no consequences - yes

... and this list can go on

Thing is, humanity is many thousands years old, I am in my thirties. When most people still don't get what I have already - this is a failure

*important note: there is still work being done in this regard every day, which is no small feat
