This is what I came for!
Didn't he have to sell his vineyard (the absolute indignation of it!) because the movie lost so much? He probably wants some money back.
He had to sell one of his vineyards.
I would much prefer that rich artists have the capacity to make art and try to make money off it than all mass media be controlled by a few organisations. Itβs a shame it wasnβt a humongous success. We might benefit from more artists and more investors taking risks.
He also had to sell his custom-made unique watch recently

Wouldn't that be easier if they picked one of his watchable films instead?
But then the people who lost money on this film wouldn't make their money back.

It was him; he financed it himself by taking out loans against properties he owned. Heβs selling things off now to pay the loans back.
