Isn't the Superior Platinum considered the most popular blade due to its gentleness?

I've never heard anything said about them other than "they're the only blades I use", or when recommending blades to new people "try Astra SP" (followed by not recommending any other blades).

I just checked my old notes, and I actually seemed to like them more than I remember.

The good news is I have some on hand, so I can revisit when I'm finished with this Superior Stainless assuming I don't get distracted with something else.

To me, they are a "good" blade. I prefer the Personna Lab Blue, German Wilkinson Sword, Gillette Nacet, and Feather blades, though. I'll use a Feather in the Blackbird, so I try to stay away from giving DE advice.
