Explanation: This is a line from the generally-good first season of Barbarians (second season was shit, would not recommend), in which a Germanic comments that a Roman would not kill other Romans.
As anyone who has studied Roman history would know, unlike this barbarian savage, killing other Romans is one of the most Roman pastimes possible, right next to watching chariots crash while making a sharp turn, and feeding criminals to the lions.
How does "getting Romans killed" (See every time Rome went to war, lost tens of thousands, said "fuck you" and raised another army) compare? Or is this still killing romans?
The Mid-Republic specialized in getting Romans killed; the Late Republic specialized in killing Romans. It's a skill they had to work to develop!
