Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.

I like that in RDR2 there are zero consequences to killing Klanners that you find in the game world.

If that game were released today, it would get social media complaints about how it's woke killing the KKK.

I think it got complaints back in the day. And how there's a side quest where you can donate to suffragettes, iirc.
