That's why I would always talk about religion and politics on the first date. It's gonna come up, it's most likely gonna introduce a deal breaker (Americans suck), so let's check early.

No. Politics relate to our fundamental values. In addition they relate to our control of the environment. There's almost nothing better to talk about than politics

So in my early 20s I had this gf who I would go shoplifting with, and make food for unhoused people with.

Pizza toppings were a genuinely large part of that relationship.
