This is a relic from a bygone era. And it's in mint condition! No replicator could match it, including the carbon dating.
I wanna know how it ended up in an alien's possession to start with. That could be a fun episode; like the intro sequence for Lord of War, but it's some ancient Earth relic that goes through a bunch of shit for hundreds of years to finally settle being a decoration on some Starship Captain's desk.
I'd also accept a variation on that Christopher Walken bit from Pulp Fiction...
