I don't get the whole masochism thing. Like I like a hot powerful woman in skimpy shiny clothes and boots, that I won't argue.

But getting hurt, well, hurts.

Pain releases endorphins. It isn't for everybody, though. If you don't get it, then it isn't for you. There are tons and tons of fetishes out there that most of us aren't going to understand.

It's because you have a healthier brain. some of us have our wires crossed in such a way that a lil bit of getting hurt actually feels sexy. Most masochism isn't getting full-on tortured though, a lot of it is more sharp, quick pains like smacks or whips or bites. Obv there are more extreme cases, and you can kinda think of those as the wires getting really crossed.

There isn't anything unhealthy about it as long as you indulge it in a healthy way.

Spicy hot food is also painful. Does that mean that people who enjoy eating habaneros, Scotch bonnet, etc. have unhealthy brains?
