Premier Danielle Smith has used the ‘notwithstanding clause’ to shield the strike-breaking bill from a court challenge.

Let me ask you something, why the fuck would the feds help Alberta? For real though, why would they? I remember back in 2014 in the middle of the oil crash watching coworker after coworker get laid off from their high paying O&G jobs while the federal government extended EI benefits to them, continue to blame all their woes on a liberal government that had nothing to do with a middle eastern, Russian and US Shale production Oil glut. Alberta continues to play the victim in federal politics saying "Ottawa never helps us" even when the liberals bought and funded the completion of a pipeline that was so unpopular that it barely made it across the finish line and had to be forced through jurisdictions that didn't want it there.

And okay let's talk Danielle smith and fucking diversification. Who fucking cares about hydrogen cars? Who's using them? What are people actually using, OH BEVS AND PHEVS, and they are a pretty good solution with sound technology? WEIRD. Maybe she shouldn't have put an axe through our solar and wind renewable market and scared of investors from the province with the excuse of "windmills messing with the view of the Rockies" but slyly pushing for coal mining in the eastern rockies at the same time. I mean I can walk out my front door right now, walk across the street and look at a natural gas processing plant fucking flare up with the rockies as a back drop.

You want the feds to support Alberta farmers? Tell them To stop voting conservative, every single fucking time. Make them into a voting block that will vote for whatever party will actually move away from aligning on every US policy even if its detrimental to our relationship with foreign (Chinese) buyers.

Fucking joke province sometimes.
